The Rouge Noir Lapel Top brings together sharp tailoring and dramatic sleeve detail in our signature red and black check.
The fitted bodice features a flattering V-neckline framed with soft black velvet lapels, creating a beautiful contrast against the check. Elasticated shoulders allow the sleeves to sit comfortably while creating their full balloon shape, before narrowing into a fitted 3/4 cuff.
Each sleeve is finished with ten decorative buttons, adding detail from shoulder to cuff and making the sleeves the true focus of the design. Fully lined bodice and finished with an invisible centre back zip.

Pretty top, but the fit is a little strange. It’s tighter around the bust than other Kitten tops I own, which causes the fabric to pull and pucker a little in that area. The lower part of the sleeves is also looser than I would have liked, but I’ll get them altered. Overall, it’s still a really pretty top.
Such a unique style and fun to wear. Velvet collar sits beautifully and I love the deep square back. Wear it out, as opposed to in, over trousers or a skirt and it really elongates your bodice.
