It is rare for me to give five stars because I believe perfection, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I find beauty in the imperfect rather than the perfect. But this dress? I’m prepared to go out on a limb and say that every single person in the world would agree with me.
This dress has somehow made me question my entire philosophy, because it is perfect!
It’s exceptionally well made, fits beautifully, and is so flattering. It has that wonderful ability to make you feel properly dressed without feeling like you’ve accidentally wandered into a historical reenactment.
This dress genuinely has the power to raise your confidence. Every single time I wear it, I get compliments, whether it’s from someone I know or a complete stranger. I feel absolutely fabulous in it!
Even my partner, who doesn’t usually take much notice of clothes beyond a polite “you look nice”, looked exactly like Pepe Le Pew when his eyes pop out of his head the first time he saw me wearing it. 😂 I'm serious his eyes literally popped out of his head. #Winning
I wear it with the Belle Boheme Cardigan (which was a lovely freebie because I bought a LOT of clothes 🫣) and a simple pair of cream flats, and the whole outfit just works.
The construction of this dress is absolutely amazing. It’s beautifully designed, the fabric choices are gorgeous, and it’s so incredibly well sewn that I honestly expect it’ll still be going strong in 10 years.
So, for the first time in a very long time, I’m giving this one the full 5 stars.
And honestly, if I could give it 10, I would.

Comfortable and beautiful
Love this. Fits perfectly, stylish and the story fits together so well in mix and match the skirt and soft green cardi to the skirt. If going overseas, add a plain pair of black trewes and a skirt and a black and white top or shirt and scarf and the coat, and there is a stylish wardrobe with very few garments that could be worn from mid spring to mid autumn. I love that dress is beautifully fully lined.

Love, love this new dress. It certainly has heads turning when I wore it. Just beautiful and that little bit of green lace just sets it off.
I just couldn’t miss out on this stunning dress! It’s beautiful, elegant yet sassy at the same time. Elegance in the houndstooth patterned material, yet sassy and playful with that gorgeous teal green lace detail neckline. It’s true to size, crafted to perfection in a light yet substantially weighted material. Add to that the classic fit and flair design and you have another standout design that will be a staple in your Kitten D’Amour collection. The black patent belt and the ‘lapel’ with black piping detail just below the neckline and following the curve of the bust gives it that extra charm. Add to that the matching teal cardigan with the cream lace collar detail and your outfit is complete. Oh! and did I mention the standout Paris themed lining?! Oh là là! And today, I just bought the adorable little black cat with the houndstooth beret brooch too! If you thought you did not need this dress, think again! The emerald green lace at the neckline sets it apart. If you have bought the BB coat then this peaks coyly at the collarline, nothing else will do. True to size, fits firmly in the bodice, nice flare achieved on the skirt by a concealed seam within the box pleat.
