No Kitten D'Amour photo shoot would be complete without one of our beloved 'Kitten' cars, and 'Dangerous Curves' was no exception. This time, we had not one, but three show-stopping classics: the 1967 Mustang GT500, the 1968 Corvette, and a star appearance from the 1968 Camaro. Let's dive into the fun, fashion, and fabulousness that made this shoot unforgettable!

The Cars: 1967 Mustang GT500, 1968 Corvette, and 1968 Camaro

First, let's talk about our star cars! The 1967 Mustang GT500 is a legend with its powerful V8 engine and sleek design that commands attention. The 1968 Corvette, with its iconic curves and roaring engine, brought an extra dash of flair and excitement to the shoot. And making a grand appearance, the 1968 Camaro stole the spotlight with its muscular stance and classic good looks. These vintage beauties added a touch of retro glamour and horsepower to our 'Dangerous Curves' collection.

 Meet the Models!

Our fabulous models, Emelia Montague and Bruna Schwartz, brought their A-game to the 'Dangerous Curves' shoot. Let's get to know these stunning women a bit better!

Emelia Montague: Emelia, with her classic beauty and fabulous curves, was the perfect fit for our vintage-inspired shoot. She exudes confidence and sophistication, capturing the essence of the 'Dangerous Curves' collection perfectly. Emelia's charm and poise made her a delight to work with, and her love for vintage fashion shone through in every shot!

We asked Emilia a few questions about her thoughts about Kitten D'Amour and the 'Dangerous Curves' range!

Emilia Montague: As a first-time model (for Kitten D'Amour) and wearer of Kitten D’Amour, I was pleasantly surprised to realise how much I LOVED the clothing on me.  I am a curvy, busty, Italian young woman and I felt so sexy, yet put together, confident and sophisticated.  Kitten D’Amour clothing made me feel like I was part of the design process – as if the pieces were designed to fit me specifically. I fell in love with myself again, thanks to Kitten D’Amour’s thoughtful designs!

Kitten D'Amour: Which was your favourite design?

Emilia Montague: My favourite design from those I modelled was the ‘Daytona’ Jumpsuit, which had been styled with the ‘D’Amour’ Follies Lace Trim Singlet in red and the ‘Dangerous Curves’ Scarf.  And from the ‘Dangerous Curves’ range itself, my favourite was the ‘Dangerous Curves’ Wiggle Dress – so sexy and sophisticated!

Kitten D'Amour: Where would you wear ‘Dangerous Curves’?

Emilia Montague: I would wear this gorgeous collection to a luxury car show, a romantic date – for a memorable and enchanting look that stands out, and fashion-forward gatherings like art gallery openings and fashion shows. 

Bruna Schwartz: With her striking looks and effortless grace, Bruna is a true professional. She knows how to work the camera and bring any outfit to life. Bruna’s bubbly personality kept everyone on set smiling, and her energy was infectious. She made every outfit from the 'Dangerous Curves' collection look absolutely fabulous!

Behind the Scenes

The day of the shoot was filled with excitement and laughter. The 'Kitten' cars rolled onto the set, and jaws dropped. The 1967 Mustang GT500, 1968 Corvette, and 1968 Camaro were the perfect backdrops, adding a touch of vintage flair and horsepower to the scene.

Bruna and Emelia showcased the 'Dangerous Curves' collection with style and grace. The dresses fit their curves perfectly, the skirts twirled beautifully, and the tops effortlessly complemented every outfit. The combination of models, cars, and clothes created a stunning visual.

Our talented team of photographers, stylists, and makeup artists ensured every detail was spot on. From the precise winged eyeliner to the classic red lip, no aspect was overlooked. The vintage-inspired hairdos added the final touch of glamour.

As the sun set and cast a golden glow over the set, the final shots were captured. The day was a resounding success, filled with beautiful fashion, incredible cars, and unforgettable moments.

'Dangerous Curves' Garage Shirt (Size 8):
Tammy is wearing the 'Dangerous Curves' Garage Shirt in a size 8, but she found it to be a snug fit and recommends sizing up from your usual size for the perfect comfort. Pairing this shirt with the full skirt is a match made in heaven, and Tammy is also excited to style it with her Boston Corset Jeans. The contrasting colours and red piping detail are her absolute favourites. It's a standout piece that’s versatile and chic! 🚗💃✨ 

'Dangerous Curves' Full Skirt Navy (Size 6):
Tammy is twirling in her usual size 6, and it's a perfect fit! The waistband has a bit of stretch, making this skirt true to size. The fabric is gorgeous, and with two petticoats, it creates a fabulous vintage silhouette. Circle skirts are always a staple for Tammy Kitten, and the navy is ideal for mixing and matching with other collections and all the pretties from the Dangerous Curves Collection! 💙👗✨

'Dangerous Curves' Full Dress (Size 6):
Tammy found this dress to be perfectly true to size and rocks it in a size 6! With a bit of stretch, the cotton fabric is super comfortable. The print is so fun, and the fullness of the skirt is just perfect for dancing the night away. Tammy loves how it cinches the waist, and the contrasting collar adds a chic touch. Plus, there’s plenty of room for your pretty petticoats! 💃👗✨

'Dangerous Curves' T-Shirt (Small):
This T-Shirt is a fabulous fit! Tammy went with her usual size, but if you're bustier or prefer a looser fit, she recommends sizing up. It’s so vintage and chic – every Kitten needs this t-shirt in their collection!

'Dangerous Curves' Pencil Skirt (Size 6):
Tammy usually floats between sizes 6 and 8 in pencil skirts, but she went with a size 6 for this navy beauty and found it to be a perfect fit! This navy pencil skirt is so classic and Tammy absolutely adores its simplicity. The cut is fantastic, and it's a new favourite in Tammy's collection. It feels amazing on and pairs perfectly with the 'Dangerous Curves' T-Shirt. A chic and versatile addition to any wardrobe! 👗💙✨

'D’Amour Contrast' Collar Dress (Navy) (Size 4):
Tammy Kitten absolutely adores this dress! She found it to be a bit generous and sized down to a 4 for the perfect fit. The navy dress with its white collar and button detail is one of Tammy's all-time favorites. It's a classic vintage style that has room for a pretty petticoat or two, creating that perfect vintage look.

With a little stretch, this dress is super comfortable to wear. It’s incredibly versatile and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Tammy can't get enough of it! 💃✨

Dangerous Curves Jacket (Size 6):
Tammy absolutely adored this design, especially when paired with the wiggle dress! She found that the ‘Dangerous Curves’ Jacket in a size 6 was the perfect fit. How pretty is this little number, Kittens, with that fabulous cutaway front and contrasting white trim? It’s a must-have for adding a touch of elegance to any outfit! 🌟👗✨

Dangerous Curves Wiggle Dress (Size 8):
Tammy wore a size 8 in the ‘Dangerous Curves’ Wiggle Dress, and oh my, what pinup goodness this dress is! These print panels are so flattering, Kittens, creating and accentuating your beautiful curves – you are going to love the effect! And that bustle… it’s just divine! 😍👗✨

Jackie Kitten (Bust: 87cm / Waist: 74cm / Hip: 104cm / Height: 163cm)

‘Dangerous Curves’ Bomber Jacket (Size 4):
This Bomber Jacket is absolutely fabulous! What’s not to love?! It features amazing embroidery, printed internal lining, and pockets! It’s the must-have piece of this collection! Jackie sized down 2 sizes for a snugger fit. It’s stylish, chic, and totally perfect! 💖

'Dangerous Curves' T-shirt (Medium): 
Jackie found the medium size perfect for this T-shirt, loving the more relaxed feel for everyday wear. The fabric is soft, and the extra length means you can easily style it with jeans untucked. This T-shirt is so much fun and pairs well with so many Kitten designs. Jackie’s favourite styling tip? This T-shirt pairs perfectly with the ‘Easy Rider’ Bustle Wiggle Skirt in burgundy!

'Dangerous Curves' Pencil Skirt (Navy)(Size 10):
Jackie opted for her usual size 10 in the wiggle skirt, and it fit comfortably with a little room around the waist. This skirt is set to be a fabulous staple in any wardrobe and is super comfortable. The lovely lightweight fabric makes it perfect for any season. Jackie is in love with how versatile and chic it is! 💃👗✨

‘Dangerous Curves’ Boiler Suit (Size 6):
Jackie chose a size 6 for a more fitted look but could have gone with a size 8 for a more relaxed feel around the legs. The bust area was a bit roomy, so pairing it with the Dangerous Curves singlet would be perfect. The styling and cut of this boilersuit are marvellous and will add something fresh and fabulous to your wardrobe! 🔧✨

'Dangerous Curves' Wiggle Dress (Size 10):|
Jackie wore her usual size 10 in the wiggle dress, and it fit like a dream around the hips and bust! The fabric has a bit of stretch, and the contrasting print with navy really accentuates your curves. Plus, Jackie is totally in love with the bustle detail – it's her favourite part! This dress is pure perfection!

 Sarah Kitten (Bust: 88cm / Waist: 67cm / Hip: 97cm / Height: 167cm)

D'Amour Contrast Collar Dress (Size 6):
Sarah decided to size down to a 6 in the 'D'Amour Contrast' Collar Dress for a snugger fit at the waist. She absolutely loves how the neckline and colours flatter her figure. This dress is the epitome of vintage glamour, and Sarah is feeling fabulous in it!

'Dangerous Curves' Garage Shirt (Size 8):
Sarah fell head over heels for the ‘Dangerous Curves’ Garage Shirt! She wore her usual size 8, and it fit snugly, giving her that perfectly cinched look. The high neckline detail adds an extra vintage touch that she absolutely adores. This shirt is an absolute must-have from the Dangerous Curves collection!

Dangerous Curves Full Circle Skirt (Size 8):
The Dangerous Curves Full Circle Skirt quickly became one of Sarah's favourite pieces from the collection! She wore her usual size and added a ‘Vintage Classic’ Petticoat for that extra twirl. Sarah suggests wearing two petticoats for even more dazzle and drama. It's a showstopper!

'Dangerous Curves' Top (Size 8):
Sarah wore her normal size 8 in the ‘Dangerous Curves’ Top. From the contrast along the sleeves and collar to the gorgeous print, this top will definitely turn heads! It’s sure to be a wardrobe staple!
