The latest Kitten D’Amour collection, 'Anarchy', is not here to whisper. It’s here to roar—loudly, fiercely, and fashionably. This is a collection stitched from mischief and power, where distressed tartan and black tulle collide in the most exquisite couture chaos.

And if you’ve ever felt the fire of rebellion beneath your lace gloves… this one’s for you.

A Little Chaos, A Lot of Couture

'Anarchy' is a love letter to contradiction. Black tulle floats like smoke over raw-edged tartan. Ruffles meet rips. Black vegan leather highlights silhouettes that are both romantic and ruthless. A hitched dress layered with frothy tulle looks like it might have been worn to a gala… then dragged through the London Underground. And the wiggle skirt? It hugs with the kind of confidence that dares you to underestimate her.

The 'Anarchy' Maxi Dress is dark poetry in motion. The 'Anarchy' Military Jacket commands attention, sharp and structured. And the 'Anarchy' Bomber Jacket? Pure, cropped power. It’s couture with a clenched jaw and steel spine.

Tartan: From Clan Pride to Catwalk Rebellion

Before it became a badge of punk rock anarchy, tartan was worn with pride in the misty hills of the Scottish Highlands. Each plaid pattern marked a clan, or a family. Tartan was about identity—woven tightly and worn boldly. It was banned in the 18th century by the English Crown after the Jacobite rebellion, becoming a symbol of cultural defiance. To wear it then was to protest!

By the 1970s this very same cloth was ripped from tradition and reimagined. What once stood for heritage was hijacked by a new kind of revolution: punk!

Suddenly, tartan wasn’t just about where you came from—it was about what you stood against. Torn, safety-pinned, slashed, and stitched back together with menace, it became the uniform of the underground. Worn with purpose. Worn with fury. Worn as an affront to the prim and proper.

And now? Anarchy pays tribute to that fearless spirit.

We’ve kept the essence—red checks, rough textures, and the energy of rebellion—but reimagined it with couture precision. The tartan in 'Anarchy' is distressed and twisted, never tame. It’s paired with vegan leather and floaty tulle, creating silhouettes that say “I do what I want” with every sharp stride.

The Evolution of Rebellion

Before 'Anarchy' takes over the streets, the Kittens of Kitten D’Amour slipped into their favourite designs to put every curve, buckle, and rebellious ruffle to the test!

Mandie Kitten 

Measurements: Bust 103cm / Waist 81cm / Hip 111cm / Height: 168cm

'Anarchy' Frill Front Blouse – Size 12:
Mandie sized up to a 12 to accommodate her bust and found the fit perfect. She loved the dramatic ruffle collar detail—an essential piece for adding a statement to any rebellious look.

'Anarchy' Tulle Skirt (Black) – Size 12:
Mandie adored this classic design. Though the size 12 was a little roomy at the waist, she preferred the slightly looser fit for comfort and styling versatility. The tulle was beautifully soft—perfect for layering up some rebel romance.

'Anarchy' Boots – Size 9:
Mandie found these boots super comfortable with the perfect heel height—ideal for taking on the world (or the dance floor) in style.

'Love and Lace' Cardigan – Size S:
Mandie preferred a snug, fitted look and chose to size down. She adored the lace detailing and bows, which added just the right touch of gothic glamour to any outfit.

'Anarchy' Wiggle Skirt – Size 14:
Mandie sized up in this style due to the non-stretch fabric. She loved the sharp button details, the fierce peplum, and the bold vegan leather buckles that added just the right amount of attitude.

'Anarchy' Maxi Dress – Size 12:
A standout favourite for Mandie! The size 12 offered a flawless fit with a fabulous shape. She instantly fell in love with this design.

'Anarchy' Full Dress – Size 10:
Mandie wore her usual size and loved the fit. It was firm in the bust (just the way she likes for a flattering silhouette) and the length was perfect for creating that dramatic, sweeping look.

'Anarchy' Ruffle Wiggle Dress – Size 12:
This cut hugged Mandie’s curves to perfection. The stretch was divine, offering both comfort and style. Her usual wiggle size fit like a dream.

Kerryn Kitten

Measurements: Bust 95cm / Waist 81cm / Hip 110cm / Height 168cm

'Anarchy' Full Dress – Size 10
Kerryn wore her usual size and absolutely adored this dress. She felt fierce and sexy, noting that the eyelash lace perfectly accentuated the bust. While the dress has no stretch and initially seemed snug at the waist, her trusty “twist the zip to the front” trick helped it glide on—and once zipped, it fit like a glove. She loved the flattering cinched waist, the comfortable elastic in the velvet cap sleeves, and declared herself completely in love with this design.

'Anarchy' Frill Front Blouse – Size 12
Kerryn is generally a size 10 in a blouse of this style, however opted for the size 12 due to the lack of stretch.  She loved everything about it—the comfortable sleeve and the wonderfully dramatic frill. She declared it a top she absolutely needed in her collection!

'Anarchy' Tulle Skirt (Black and Red) – Size 12
Kerryn found the size 12 to be the perfect fit for both colours of the tulle skirt. She described the red as absolutely stunning, while the black is an absolute classic. The skirts were true to size—her sizing up from a size 10 was due to those wonderful womanly fluctuations, not the skirt itself!

Kerryn also tried the 'Anarchy' Full Skirt in a size 12 - not pictured - and found it to be a perfect fit. She notes that she would normally wear a size 10, but the waist does sit particularly high, which she loves!

'Anarchy' Rebel T-Shirt – Size Medium
This design spoke to Kerryn’s inner ’90s grunge queen. She chose a medium for a beautifully fitted look and considered it a must-have piece.

'Anarchy' Tulle Skirt (Black and Red) – Size 12
As above!

'Anarchy' Boots – 8.5
Despite having a broken toe, Kerryn found the boots comfortable (a true testament to their design!). She confirmed they would definitely be coming home with her. While she wasn’t quite dancing the night away just yet, she fully intends to —these boots are simply too good to resist!

Tash Kitten

Measurements: Bust 96cm / Waist 74cm / Hip 107cm / Height 161cm

'Anarchy' Military Jacket – Size 8
The cropped length sat perfectly at her hips. The size 8 offered a comfortable, flattering fit that layered beautifully.

'Anarchy' Hitch Dress – Size 10
Tash found the hitch dress extremely comfortable and loved the way it sat on her frame - a perfect balance of style and ease.

'Anarchy' Boots – Size 8
Tash was absolutely obsessed. Despite having wide feet, she found the fit perfect with no issues at all. The boots were extremely comfortable—so much so, she declared she definitely needs to buy them!

'Anarchy' Ruffle Wiggle Dress – Size 10
An instant favourite. The size 10 fit perfectly everywhere, with just the right amount of stretch for a flawless, comfortable fit. In her words: “I need this dress!”

'Anarchy' Maxi Dress – Size 10
Tash tried the size 10 but noted that, for her specific measurements, she would have sized up. The dress was snug at the hips and loose at the waist—no surprise for a Kitten with dramatic curves!

Leila Kitten

Measurements: Bust 105cm / Waist 77cm / Hip 105cm / Height 176cm

'Anarchy' Rebel T-Shirt – Size M
Leila sized down from her usual Large to a Medium for a firmer fit across the bust. The feminine cap sleeves and bold bow ties added just the right amount of rebellious flair. This was an instant favourite and, in her own words, “this one will be coming home with me.”

'Anarchy' Full Skirt – Size 12
In the skirt, Leila stuck with her usual size, which offered a flawless fit. The super high, flattering waist was perfect for tucking in tops and creating that coveted hourglass silhouette. Whether styled sweet or given a punk edge, this skirt delivered on both style and shape.

'Anarchy' Full Dress – Size 10
Leila usually wears a size 12 but chose to size down for a firmer, fierce fit across the bust. The sleeves offered the perfect stretch—comfortable without feeling tight—and the fabric was beautifully light and soft. Ideal for stirring up a little stylish anarchy in complete comfort.

'Anarchy' Bomber Jacket – Size 12
Leila took her usual size and found the fit perfect. This piece quickly became one of her favourites—easy to style with Kitten jeans or skirts, offering a cool, versatile look. The jacket was not only stylish but warm and cosy inside, ready for whatever mischief the day (or night) might bring.

Brooke Kitten

Measurements: Bust 101cm / Waist 86cm / Hip 104cm / Height 162cm

'Anarchy' Rebel T-Shirt – Size XL
Brooke chose the XL to allow for stretch over the bust. She instantly fell in love with the softness of the fabric and confirmed this T-shirt would definitely be joining her wardrobe.

'Anarchy' Peplum Wiggle Skirt – Size 14
This skirt was a favourite. The size 14 fit perfectly, and Brooke adored the flattering cut and dramatic details.

'Anarchy' Bomber Jacket – Size 10
The size 10 offered a perfect fit, with the sleeve-length just right. Brooke described the inner lining as incredibly cosy and comfortable.

'Anarchy' Full Dress – Size 12
The size 12 fit perfectly. Brooke found this dress incredibly flattering, especially around the arms. She adored how the shape accentuated her curves while offering both comfort and style.

Kay Kitten

Bust: 79cm / Waist: 65.5cm / Hip: 91cm / Height: 172cm

'Anarchy' Full Dress - Size 4
Wearing her usual size in the ‘Anarchy’ Full Dress, Kay says it fits like an absolute dream. With soft, buttery lace framing the décolletage (subtly accentuating the girls), this piece is as flattering as it is beautiful. The waist fits firmly, flaring out into the most playful, darling silhouette. Kay absolutely adores this design!

'Anarchy' Maxi Dress - Size 4
Kay wears her usual size 4 in this design and notes there's plenty of give, perfect for when you’ve got a big dinner on the cards. This dress is elegance. This dress is grunge. It’s the perfect balance between the two. Styled with the 'Anarchy' Boots, Kay’s ready to rock the night away.

'Anarchy' Ruffle Wiggle Dress - Size 6
This is Kay’s absolute favourite style of all time. The Ruffle Wiggle Dress is always her go-to. It’s the most waist-snatching, body-hugging, bust-enhancing dress to exist. It even had her saying, “Where did these curves come from?!” Wearing a size 6, Kay sized up for comfort, as this Wiggle Dress fits extremely firm (and fabulously so). If you're after a glamorous look with a hint of Anarchy, this is your go-to. ;)

Millie Kitten 

Measurements: Bust 94cm / Waist 68.5cm / Hip 103.5cm / Height 160cm

'Anarchy' Wiggle Skirt & 'Anarchy' Frill Front Blouse – both Size 8
With no stretch in the material, Millie chose to size up in both designs. The blouse fit well at the waist, but sizing up was essential to accommodate a fuller bust. Millie loves this outfit!

'Anarchy' Rebel Tshirt (Small) & 'Anarchy'Tulle Skirt (Black) – Size 6
The 'Anarchy' skirt in size 6 fit perfectly—Millie added a petticoat for that essential extra POOF!

The 'Anarchy' Rebel T-Shirt was a sleek fit and she especially loved the shoulder-covering sleeves, which added both style and comfort.

'Anarchy' Ruffle Wiggle Dress – Size 6
The size 6 offered plenty of stretch and was wonderfully flattering through the hips and bust. However, Millie found it very tight around the ribs and would prefer a size 8 for a more comfortable fit through the torso.

Jackie Kitten

Measurements: Bust 79cm / Waist 71cm / Hip 101cm / Height 164cm

 

'Anarchy' Hitch Dress – Size 8
Jackie wore her usual size and found the fit fabulous. She loved the hitched skirt detail and the flattering cowl neckline. The fabric felt beautiful and soft against the skin—a perfect blend of comfort and edgy style.

'Anarchy' Ruffle Wiggle Dress – Size 10
Jackie was smitten with the cut of this wiggle dress. She wore her standard wiggle size and found the stretch divine and the fit wonderfully comfortable. The dress offered excellent waist definition and she especially loved the slightly longer length.

'Anarchy' Boots – Size 8.5
Jackie found the boots super comfortable. She appreciated that they were a little higher than previous Kitten boots but still easy to wear. The buckle details were the perfect finishing touch, making them an ideal fit for the Anarchy collection.

'Anarchy' Bomber Jacket – Size 6
For a firmer fit, Jackie sized down from her usual size, as the shoulders in her standard size felt a little too roomy. The result? An amazing fit. She adored the super warm lining, the bold graphic on the back, and is confident this will be a hot seller!

'Anarchy' Tulle Skirt (Red) – Size 8
Jackie described this skirt as a must-have. The vibrant red colour was divine, and the tulle felt incredibly soft. She opted for her usual size, which provided a slightly firmer fit. A size up felt too loose. She can’t wait to style this with other Kitten favourites.

'Anarchy' Full Skirt – Size 10
Jackie sized up in this style, noting that the waistband sits quite high and felt very firm in her usual size. The size 10 provided a much more comfortable fit. She loved the button details and declared it one of her favourite skirt styles.
